Jayme's Dry Rub

Brown sugar and cayenne work together to give a bit of sweetness and a bit of heat to this spice rub you can use on any meat.

Mix brown sugar, salt, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, thyme, oregano, and cayenne pepper together in an airtight container, seal, and shake.


  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
