  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
