  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/4 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
  • 2 cups chicken stock
