This perfect apple cake can be described as yummy and there is no need for any additional decorations because the cake itself looks stunning. First of all, you need to preheat the oven to 350F.
An 8-inch springform pan must be lightly greased.
Then, you have to peel, core and slice the apples.
With half of the apples, turn the slices and chop 3 to 4 times to get a big dice.
Take a bowl.
Place baking powder, salt and flour into the bowl.
Blend well.
Set aside.
Take a large bowl.
Add butter to the bowl.
Beat the butter using an electric mixer until turned smooth.
Then, sugar and honey must be added.
Beat again until the mixture becomes fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Mix in between.
Then vanilla must be added.
The bowl should be scraped.
Beat again.
The next step is to beat in the milk. (If batter looks like a bit weird, you do not need to worry).
Now, you can add the flour mixture to change the weird look.
Beat well to get a smooth creamy batter.
Chopped apples must be stirred in.
After that, you need to spread into the prepped pan.
The apple slices must be arranged in such a manner that each piece overlaps the other in a circular motion.
The pan has to be placed on the top rack of the preheated oven (350 Degrees) for 40 to 50 minutes.
Allow cake to cool.
Remove the sides of the pan.
Take out the cake.

- Ground cinnamon – 2 teaspoons.
- Sourish apples – 2 nos. (They can be Jonathon, granny smith or something similar)
- Baking powder – 2 -1/4 teaspoons.
- Unbleached all purpose flour – 2 cups.
- Freshly grated nutmeg – 1 teaspoon.
- Sugar – 1/2 cup.
- Salt- 1/4 teaspoon.
- Unsalted butter – 1/2 cup.
- Honey – 1/3 cup.
- Vanilla – 1-1/2 teaspoons.
- Large eggs – 2 nos.
- Almond milk – 1/2 cup. (You can use soy or regular milk as well).
