First of all, you need to take a large pan.
The heat must be kept at a medium level.
Now, you have to place all the ingredients in the pan.
You need to stir occasionally and stop when the sugar is dissolved.
Then, the mixture must be boiled uncovered for about 45 to 50 minutes.
You must stop when the fruit becomes tender and mixture gets thickened.

- Chopped onion – 250 grams.
- Salt – 2 teaspoons.
- Ground ginger – 1/2 teaspoon.
