Cook the chicken breast with olive oil, two garlic gloves that are minced, and one chopped onion. Make sure it is well done and tender.


Place a soup pot on your stove over medium heat and let the butter melt. Add the vegetables i.e. garlic, oregano, basil, onion, sweet corn, mushrooms, and carrots. Stir frequently and let them cook for at least 6 minutes. Do not let the vegetables turn brown as they should only be tender at this point.


Add the cooked chicken breast, chicken broth and vegetable broth, salt, and pepper in the soup pot stir at least once or twice and let them cook until the liquid boils.


The noodles come in last since they do not need to cook for long. Put them into the pot and let the easy chicken noodle soup simmer for about ten minutes before serving.

  • Four cans chicken broth (14.5 ounces)
  • A can of vegetable broth (14.5 ounces)
  • 1 pound chopped chicken breast (it should be boneless and skinless)
  • 11/2 cup egg noodles
  • Sliced carrots (a cup)
  • Tablespoon of butter
  • Chopped celery (1 a cup)
  • Two chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Four minced garlic cloves
  • 3-4 mushrooms that have been finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of sweet corn either canned or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
