Hawaiian Marinated Flank Steak

How to make a perfect Hawaii marinated flank steak? You can find different ways of preparing this dish but this recipe offers a unique way of preparation that offers a captivating taste. Although this Hawaii marinated flank steak recipe recommends flank steak, you can replace it with rib-eye or skirt steak. First of all, you need to take a 9x13 baking dish.
You need to add 1/2 bottle of marinade. (The remaining can be kept for other purposes).
Ginger, pineapple juice and rosemary must also be added.
They should be whisked to combine.
The next step is to add the steak. (You must make sure that steak is covered with marinade).
If you want, you can add extra Teriyaki juice.
It should be covered with plastic wrap.
Then, you have to marinate it in the fridge for 24 hours at least.
Now, the steak should be removed from the refrigerator about 1/2 an hour prior to cooking. (It is being done to ensure that the meat cooks in an even manner)
A grill must be heated to high temperature.
The steak has to be removed from the marinade.
It should be pat dried using paper towels.
Season with pepper and salt.
In order to make the glaze, you have to pour the remaining marinade into a small sauce pan.
Bring to boil.
Simmer till until thickened in a slight manner. (You need to make sure that the marinade is reduced by half).
Now, the steak must be grilled on each side for about 6 to 8 minutes.
When you turn it, you can brush them with the glaze.
Cooking time can be increased depending on your temperature preference.
Then, remove from the grill.
Rest for 10 minutes to ensure even juice distribution.
Finally, you must thinly slice on an angle before serving with your preferred side dishes.
- Pineapple juice – 1 cup.
- Top quality flank steak – 1- 1/2 lbs.
- Ginger – 1 inch piece.
- Veri Veri Teriyaki marinade- 1 bottle (Soy Vay brand is a good option).
- Olive oil – to taste.
