Take a frying pan. Pour the olive oil. And than, you have to heat the pan.
When the oil becomes hot, the beef should be added. You need to saute meat until the meat turns lightly brown.
Then, the onion should be added. And the garlic needs to be added as well.
Now, you have to saute over medium heat until onion turns translucent.
It is the time to add the crushed tomato. And you need to stir well to combine all these ingredients properly.
The next step is to add spices. The tomato paste needs to be added as well.
Then, you have to add sufficient water. The green beans should also be added. Bring to a boil. (If you really want to make this stew heavier on veggies, you have to add more green beans).
Now, you have to reduce to a simmer on low heat for about 2 hours.
You have to check whether the meat has become tender. You should also ensure that the tomatoes have broken down into sauce.
The Lebanese beef stew is ready to serve.
Ingredients
- Beef stew meat - 1 lb (It should be chopped to smaller bite-size pieces).
- Allspice - 1/8 teaspoon.
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Frozen green beans - 1 lb.
- Cloves garlic - 3 or 4 Nos. (They should be finely chopped).
- Medium-sized onion – 1no. (It should be finely chopped).
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon.
- Tomato - 1 (It should be crushed)
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon.
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon.
- Beef bouillon - 2 cubes (Instead of beef bouillon, you can select a teaspoon of beef base paste).
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon.
- Water - 4 cups (You can add more if you want).
