1) Linguine must be cooked based on package directions.
2) One lemon should be halved and sliced thinly. The peel from the remaining lemon should be grated finely. You have to place it in a small bowl.
3) The lemon has to be cut crosswise in half and juice must be squeezed into bowl before setting aside.
4) Oil and butter have to be heated in a 6-qt. stockpot and the heat must e kept medium high.
5) Garlic,onion and mushrooms need to be added and cooked for 5 minutes. You should keep on stirring.
6) Juice, lemon peel, lemon slices and tomatoes have to be added and cooked 5 more minutes. You must stir occasionally.
7) Pepper flakes, pepper, salt and chardonnay should be stirred in and cooked for 3 to 5 minutes. (You must stir occasionally and can stop when wine is completely evaporated)
8) Shrimp needs to be added and cooked for 4 to 6 minutes. You have to stir properly and cooking can be stopped when shrimp turns pink.
9) After lowering heat to medium-low, linguine has to be drained and one cup pasta water must be reserved.
10) Linguine should be stirred into shrimp mixture and sufficient reserved pasta water needs to be added to moisten.
11) After heating through, it can be served with parsley and cheese.

  • Parmesan cheese (Grated) – Optional.
  • Uncooked shrimp – 1 1/2 pounds. (They need to be peeled and deveined)
  • Red pepper flakes (Crushed) – 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Pepper – 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Chardonnay – 2/3 cup.
  • Sun-dried tomatoes – 1/4 cup. (You should not take tomatoes packed in oil and they should be julienned.
  • Garlic cloves – 6 nos. (Minced)
  • Onion (Medium) – 1 no. (Chopped)
  • Fresh Cremini mushrooms (Sliced) – 8 ounces.
  • Olive oil – 1/4 cup.
  • Butter – 1/4 cup. (Cubed)
  • Lemon (Medium) – 2 nos.
  • Uncooked linguine – 12 ounces.
