If you want to make a complete meal using salmon, potatoes, chili, lime and honey, you do not need to look any further. This oven baked honey chili lime salmon recipe teaches you how to prepare such a dish. Total time needed to make this dish is 50 minutes and you can serve it for 3 people. Oven should be preheated to 180C/350F.
A large rimmed baking tray must be placed in the oven.
Take a ziplock bag or a bowl.
All marinade ingredients have to be combined in the bowl or bag.
Now, salmon should be added.
It should be set aside for 20 minutes to marinate.
The next step is to toss the roast potato ingredients in a bowl.
The tray must be removed from the oven and potatoes should be poured onto the tray.
Put back the tray in the oven and roast for 20 minutes.
Then, beans ingredients have to be combined using the same bowl used for potatoes so that the residual butter sticks to the beans.
Toss well.
Salmon must be removed from the marinade. (You must also reserve the marinade)
You need to remove the tray from the oven.
The potatoes have to be removed to one side and salmon should be placed in the middle with skin side down.
The beans need to be piled into one corner of the tray. (You should not spread them out because it leads to overcooking).
Salt and pepper need to be sprinkled all over the tray.
Marinade must be drizzled on each salmon.
The tray should be placed back into the oven.
Bake for 4 minutes per 1/2 inch/5 minutes per 1.5 cm of thickness.
Now, the grill or broiler should be turned onto maximum.
The remaining marinade has to be drizzled onto the salmon.
You need to grill for 2 minutes until turns light golden on top.
Keep it in the room temperature for 3 minutes.
Grater should be used to grate chili and lime zest over the salmon.
You can serve this oven baked salmon dish with lime wedges on the side.

- Salmon – 3 pieces. (5-7 oz/ 150-200 grams each)
- #Marinade#
- Honey – 1-1/2 tablespoon.
- Minced garlic cloves – 2 nos.
- Lime zest – 1-1/2 teaspoons.
- Lime juice – 3 tablespoons.
- Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon. (Fish sauce can also be used).
- #Roast potatoes#
- Halved baby potatoes – 14 oz/ 450 grams.
- Melted butter – 1-1/2 tablespoons.
- Minced garlic clove – 1 no.
- Salt – 1/8 teaspoon.
- #Beans#
- Olive oil – 1 teaspoon.
- Green beans – 8 oz/250 grams. (It should be trimmed).
- #Garnish and seasoning#
- Lime – 1 no.
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
- Birds eye chili – 1 no. (It can be frozen or finely chopped unfrozen).
- Black pepper – to taste.
