Submitted by Jacqulyn Published on April 2, 2019 Save Rate Print Share Trending Videos Close this video player 3 Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins Total Time: 25 mins Servings: 12 Yield: 12 muffins Jump to Nutrition Facts Ingredients cooking spray 6 tablespoons salted butter, softened ¼ cup chopped seaweed 1 ½ teaspoons sea salt 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup confectioners' sugar 2 eggs 3 tablespoons honey (Optional) 1 ½ tablespoons coconut oil 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (Optional) Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray muffin cups with cooking spray. Mix butter, seaweed, and sea salt together in a bowl until smooth. Mix flour, confectioners' sugar, eggs, honey, coconut oil, and cinnamon into butter mixture until batter is just mixed; pour into the prepared muffin cups. Bake in the preheated oven until the sides of the muffins begin to darken, 12 to 15 minutes. Cook's Notes: Mess around with this recipe. If you want a saltier muffin, add more sea salt or sprinkle on top after baking. Add more sugar for sweeter muffins.
