Swedish Apple Pie Tips

What kind of apples should you use to make Swedish apple pie?

The best apples for pie include Granny Smith (my favorite), Pink Lady, Cortland, Crispin and Braeburn.

What can you serve with Swedish apple pie?

A little dollop of whipped cream or low-fat vanilla ice cream is a great way to amp up your light dessert without breaking the calorie bank. Cinnamon and powdered sugar add a pretty accent, and are virtually calorie-free!
