Banana-Coconut Pudding Smoothie

Ingredients

1 frozen banana, peeled and chopped

1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

1 pitted date

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

3/4 cup coconut water

Directions

  1. Combine the banana, coconut, date, cinnamon, nutmeg and coconut water in a blender and puree until smooth, adding more liquid if necessary. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with cinnamon.

I used sweetened coconut instead of unsweetened and coconut milk instead coconut water. I also used no date. It was a delicious treat on a hot summer day!
