No-Bake Chewy Granola Bars
These bars are a perfectly portable snack you can prep on Sunday and enjoy throughout the week. Wrap leftovers tightly in plastic wrap, and store in the fridge. The bars will continue to firm up as they chill.

Loved the recipe!! Used almonds instead of pistachios. Pulsed mine in food processor. Kids think they dislike nuts, but can never tell when I pulse them. Also, I doubled the batch and used blue agave instead of honey. Works well with just 1/3 cup agave (or even less). Kids liked them too! Made 14 granola sized bars in a 13x9 dish. Held up well!
“Sins of every kind imaginable flow through every land! Yea, as a mighty river it flows into every nation, reaching unto new heights in wickedness as the walls are broken down, over-topped by these quickly rising waters! The levees are eroded from beneath, they are undermined continually, widening the breach! Behold, a great flood of sin has ensued, a terrible deluge covers the face of the whole earth, and still the fear of The Lord is all but forgotten! THUS THE CUP OF THE WRATH OF MY FURY IS COME TO THE FULL!” ~ Says The Lord Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNB4jav8sbI Excerpt from: http://trumpetcallofgodonline.com/index.php5?title=THE_CUP_OF_THE_WRATH_OF_MY_FURY_IS_COME_TO_THE_FULL
The serving size is impossible! Love the peanut-buttery goodness. Very satisfying. I didn't have any problems with them holding together. I made sure to press it down hard with a flat metal spatula before putting them in the freezer. Would make again.
It took me 2 stores to find the new Cheerios flavor but overall these were very easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly. To keep it from falling apart, I pressed the mixture with a heavy spatula before putting it in the freezer. Even after several hours, they are staying together without any trouble.
The combination of ingredients for these granola bars is delicious! Keeping them together, though, was a challenge. I even tried freezing for twice the time and got the same result, also trying one batch with peanut butter and one batch with almond butter. Maybe I'll add some more honey next time.
