Yum. Didn't have have honey wheat germ, added a touch of honey and used plain organic yogurt and whole wheat tortillas.
I love how Alex took time to slice the shallots and fry them it looked incredible and i think i would Like It Like This hmm ...... I Know I Will Make Some With Sweet Onions Instead Of Shallots Yep That's what i will do The Next Time I Need a side Dish Yeah I Will Do This !!
Great quick recipe. Takes 10 minutes to make and very nutritious. I substituted the wheat germ with flax seed. Worked out perfectly
My two year old and his friend both loved this. They helped assemble, also. we used plain yogurt, skipped the wheat bran and cinnamon, and added mini chocolate chips.
Great for kids!
Delicious! I didn't have wheat germ, so I crushed up some corn flakes and mixed that with the cinnamon. This recipe started out as something I'd like to make for my kids, but I'll probably end up making it just for myself sometimes.
This was very yummy and my kids (2 and 4) both liked it. I added a little honey to the mix and used a whole wheat wrap (california lavash).
Amazingly tasty, kids liked it, and lots of stealth nutrients. To accommodate allergies I used roasted almond butter and "SO Delicious" agave sweetened soy yogurt. Also used regular wheat germ & a tiny bit of honey instead of honey crunch wheat germ.
This recipe is easy to make, and it fills up even the hungriest man as a snack! The only complaint I had is that the flour tortillas seemed a little thick for the recipe. Next time I will add more peanut butter mixture to each tortilla.
