Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350°F.
  • 2
Remove dough from can. Cut lengthwise into 4 pieces; roll each piece into a 14-inch-long rope. Gather the ropes together at 1 end. Pinch end to seal ropes together. Take the outermost rope on the left side and move to the right, under the middle 2 ropes, then on top of the rope directly to the left. Repeat with the rope on the outermost side on the right. Bring the rope to the left under the middle 2 ropes, then on top of the rope directly to the right. Continue with this until the ropes are completely braided. Pinch the ends of the rope to seal well. Brush egg on top of braid. Sprinkle with salt.
  • 3
Bake 25 to 27 minutes or until loaf is deep golden brown and baked through.
  • 4
Meanwhile, beat butter and cranberry sauce with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and fluffy. Serve with warm bread.
